Just completed my transaction with Ramstrong for my 5DMkII.

Very forthcoming and clear communication. Settled all doubts in one phone call and proceeded with the payment. He was very accommodative about the mode of payment and paid immediately.

Upon receipt, he informed me immediately and acknowledged that the box and its contents were intact and everything was functioning as expected.

Really no hassles and highly recommended for future transactions.

I am one happy man ;D (happy as I've moved to FF) with the addition of the Canon 5D Mk II to my arsenal, which I received last Friday (09 Aug 13).

To be honest, basically had 2 apprehensions about this deal. one about the present condition of the camera after 2 years usage (as the photos depicted in WTS were shot in 2011 when it was bought brand new) & the second was whether the camera will reach safely to Bangalore without any damage etc. (as it being a high value item & since the risk was with the buyer i.e., me). Due to this I was in a dilemma for about a fortnight whether to go for it or not.

Finally, took a positive decision & contacted Manoj on Sunday (05 Aug 13) evening. We decided to talk the next day as I was outside.

When I had called Manoj on 06 Aug 13, (Monday) morning to clarify, he assured me that he will take care of my concerns & ensure that the camera reached me safely.

To assuage my concerns Manoj even went to the extent of offering to send the camera through his mom personally as she was expected to come to Bangalore (by air) next week, though I turned down his offer.

I also checked whether CF card was included in the package (as it was not mentioned clearly in the WTS thread) for which he responded saying that though it was not part of the deal, nevertheless, he will include a 4GB CF card to sweeten the deal.

I got a confirmation on the night of 08 Aug 13, (Thursday) that the camera is on its way thru DTDC Premium fully insured. Typically it takes two days to one week for the items to reach (based on my past experience) from Pune to Bangalore. So it was a pleasant surprise when I got the camera within just one day.

The packing was too too good. It took an hour to unwrap the (5 layers ) package & reach to the camera box and the contents inside. I could imagine the time & effort that must have gone into packing the item. Thanks & really appreciate that.

On opening the box, I was pleasantly surprised to see an 8GB SanDisk Ultra CF card sitting right on top :o. Thanks for that too.

The Camera looked like brand new (as depicted in the photos); smelt very good (don't mind aping Jared Polin a.k.a 'The Fro knows photo dot com' in this aspect ;D) & all the items were there exactly as described. Checked the functionality of the camera etc. & confirmed back to Manoj.

Have uploaded some photos shot with the camera in flickr.

In fact, there was some left over money, meant for the shipping charges, with him after the dispatch of the item which he has transferred yesterday to my account (though I didn't get the time to check the A/C & confirm due to busy Monday schedule).

It was a pleasure interacting with Manoj on this deal. I am happy & fully satisfied. ;D ;D ;D

Enjoyed dealing with Suman Saraf from Delhi. Clear and transparent transaction. Highly recommended seller / buyer. Sold my Nikkor 1.8 D to him. Transferred the money even before i could start packing my lens for shipment  :D.

It was a pleasure interacting with you. The lens was delivered on Saturday (though I got my hands on it today). Exactly like new, with the bills, warranty, UV filter and other freebies thrown in.

I have to add, you were very responsive and communicated at every step on e-mail and SMS. Even though you didn't have to, you made it a point to ship it on thursday despite your hectic schedule.

Would like to thank Deepak Kaw for a pleasant trading experience.
After some initial discussions about the 55-300 lens, he gave some factual advice and also a comparison between the 55-200 and 55-300mm Nikkor.

Once we decided on a price, he shipped it out fast, and it reached me in a day. It cost him a fair bit more to ship, but he graciously refused to pass on those charges.
It was a pleasure speaking to him, and I will not hesitate in recommending him.

He had asked me to add extra 150rs for shipping, but the actual cost came out to be rs310, of which the extra 160rs he agreed to borne by himself.  :)
