Thanks, Thad E G. During analog days, it was quite complicated process- lith film, proper exposure , developing film in two parts developer and then printing. Now with digital its quite simplified.

Could you share some details of the process? I presume it is not just converting to monochrome and washing the background white.

Thanks, t..i..n..b.. In photoshop- Image-Adjustment-Threshold and set the slider to your liking  :)

Thanks. Was just curious. That appears to be similar to black level adjustment in darktable.
