To keep the rut from kicking in again, woke up early and headed out. Some images to share with exclusive vertical composition.

I usually coin it my 7-11 time, but lately, I've been heading out as early as 5:30am. The sessions generally span 2-3 hours. I'm supremely blessed to live in a biodiverse location

5.30 am must be just about sunrise....the best time to shoot bugs as they are least active. An hour or two before sunset is also a good time. B'flies and many other bugs roost for the night and are pretty cooperative if you have a discreet approach.
