Very nice. Seems very sharp.

I don't really know how much depth of field to expect from such a lens, but It is enough to get both of the cat's eyes in focus when his head is at angle. Useful!

Looks like a super prospect for portraiture!
The look from the cat is gold - cold :D
Liked your friend's portrait the most
If it moves I shoots :P

Very good shots.
I got a 50mm f1.2 lens from TTartisan for my EOS-M5. The outputs are wonderful.
I also have a 60mm f/2.8 macro lens from 7 Artisans.
These Chinese lenses are all metal and quite comfortable to work with.

Thank you Thad, Hayath, Ashutosh and Prabir :)

I am pleasantly surprised by the sharpness in the center at f0.95 with this lens. The bokeh at certain distance can be a bit distracting but it good in general. About nailing focus, I use peaking and magnification in the viewfinder and it felt quite easy at close distance. I guess at longer distances it would be more difficult, but haven't tested that yet.

You can try long distance shots. These lenses work quite well. I also use with focus peaking and I get good results.
I tell you, working with manual lenses is real fun. It gives you a bit of hard tasks, but the end results are more satisfying than the modern autofocus lenses. I have a retina issue on my right eye. But I still use these manual lenses and work them with my left eye.
