Hi all,
Square filters are not cheap neither are they small, how to store them when not in use, should they be kept inside dry cab or what's the best way to store it. especially when the re-use interval is long enough.

Thankyou.

Storage of "glass" filters shouldnt be an issue.
You can keep 'em in the original plastic/metal box they came with. You can then keep the box in dehumidifier if you have one. It occupies very less space. But most of the time its not necessary if you have cleaned the filter well before storing. Since its just glass (without any rings), chances of debris/dust/pollen getting trapped along the edges of filters later leading to fungal growth, is almost next to none.

However, if you are using synthetic/resin/CR39 filters, then you need to be more careful cleaning them as the surface can get scratched/leached/delaminated if harsh chemicals are used. But the rest of it remains essentially the same.

Should be fine.
Just remember to check it every once in a while (say 1.5-2 months) for fungal growth, especially during rainy season.
