Item Description : Rather good functionally good Canon 100-400 lens. Bought it used from someone about 2 years back. Reason for selling is that it's a bit heavy for my liking and I'm moving to lighter mirrorless/micro 4/3rd.

There are 2 issues with the lens so please only buy if that doesn't bother you or you'd like to ger it serviced. I have absolutely no issues or faced one because of it but definitely ethical to mention. The lens has fungus on the frint and back elements. Basically the previous owner lived in a rather humid area and did not bother taking care of his equipments. I have always kept that in a dehumidifier so there is no new fungus growth.

The Smooth Tight Ring on the lens is not functioning however it does not affect me since when handholing or on tripod it's not of much use anyway.

I did ask for a service quote for the lens from Command Camera. The technician/Owner said about 3k for fungus cleaning but he said replacing the ring for tight/smooth is not worth as this lens has 99.99% of this happening as it's too common with this model.

Lens is otherwise super sharp. IS works like butter and smooth.
