beautiful use for form and shape also light and shadows and and color contrast, shows some effort has gone into composition, please share more of such work
This is a good example of crafting a photo from oridinary subject

I would give at least half the credit to the Leica 50 Summilux V2 E43. Designed by the legendary Walter Mandler, the 50 Summilux V2, with a 43mm filter size, remained in production from 1961-1995. It was finally replaced by the V3 where the filter size was increased to 46mm. Both versions would certainly be among the finest lenses ever made. Rendering is closer to a painting than the 'digital illustration' nature of modern lenses which seems to be a far cry from what photographs appeared to be in the film era. Most contemporary lenses seem to rely more on coatings rather than on the quality of the glass. The majority of photographs one comes across from the digital era, exhibit a degree of harshness coupled with a banal and unimpressive rendition of the subject. Which may be one reason why photographers are taking recourse to post production - merrily boosting contrast, saturation, sharpening, cropping and tweaking the original image in order to grab eyeballs and attention.

A very nicely conceived and interesting image.

Some say those of us who love to talk about cameras should instead go and take pictures. I say we should go and also take pictures.

Lovely use of contrast. TFS.
