And every Friday after 3pm, all addresses would be locked, some would not even be locatable, and the poor delivery person would have no option but to close early and go home for the weekend. You'd have to spend the weekend worrying over your valuable consignment and hope that it will show up on Monday.

Lots of revolutionary improvements announced - Rationalised services. Last mile services. Faster services. Better services.

True fact !

We can now send our cameras, lenses and what have you through private couriers and ask them to get in touch with Indiapost for 'last mile delivery' !

Great job ! Great job ! Everyone says so !

The final death knell to 'affordable and reliable' postal services in India :-

FWIW, Indiapost X handle has denied these 'false' allegations saying "Registered Post is NOT being discontinued. India Post has upgraded the service by merging it with Speed Post." We all know what that means.

We have breather till Sep 30 but only because they cant seem to get their servers in order even after shutting out business for most part of the last couple of months.

The good times just don't seem to end !

PS - Shoot your camera, dont shoot the messenger :-P
