I am the admin of that group and I am unable to log into my face book account from february 2026. I tried revoking the ban, but have no clue getting. Facebook asked for selfie video to prove that I am a human and then they said permanently disabled via an e-mail.

After losing a contract employee in corona, and fighting 1000 percent times fines with chennai port and fighting several times fines from 2019 and abuse of system by administration by non stop cases in high court , and being penalised for helping workers. most of companies inside chennai port shut down. I am not really feeling interested. I wonder if facebook shut my facebook account for highlighting this issue as administration wants to win elections, not help people.

In summary, I am shut out of my fb account. I think this is trivial , as system does not care about welfare or hunger of citizens, even in corona. rules over suffering of public.

Hi, the algorithms of fb flagged some "advertisement" violation on my facebook account in february 26. I do not do any advertisement on there. wonder if it had to do with criticism of some wars or pro environment posts.

I am unable to log into facebook from february and I think may be disabled. thinking of moving away from facebook. They do not share details of offending posts.  wonder if it had to do anything with TN elections and my comments.

Facebook is not neutral medium and they ignore animal abuse and lot of other issues, but any posts giving feedback on wars , policies are flagged and taken down.

Hi, my 3 posts and 2 comments are " pending admin's approval " in Film Photography India facebook forum. The posts are quite old, the first one being of 13th March'26. My queries remain unanswered and are added as 'pending approval". Very strange state of affairs !

Is there alternative to facebook. Lots of us are having accounts blocked on false complaints and deleted without valid reason.

I had started with photo.net and later spent time on flickr group forums.  facebook algorithms seem to be problematic and reason for blocking is not shared with actual details.

Welcome back to JJMPF!

Congratulations on your establishing Film Photography India on Facebook. It is good to see that some artists are still using and enjoying film media.  Anyone who has used a classic film camera knows that it is about much more than just the film.  There is something really special about a rock solid, basic camera with excellent optics, viewfinder, build quality, and total control of the process.  Modern, computer controlled, plastic cameras have a hard time trying to replicate those good qualities.
