Item Description : Worlds first professional 28-70mm zoom lens with a constant f2.8 aperture. An excellent optic with close ties to the renowned French lens manufacturer Angénieux. It has a pleasing rendering along with characterful bokeh and cinematic flares, which combined with Tokina's robust mechanics, make it popular amongst filmmakers for video application as well. Unlike modern photo zoom lenses, it has minimal focus breathing and is close to being par-focal. This copy is in excellent condition. Both focus and zoom ring are not stiff and are evenly dampened. Aperture blades are free from oil and snappy. Works with both digital and film bodies and is easily adaptable or cine-modded. Comes with original caps.
