These checklists try to cover the fundamental essentials for posting in the WTS forum.
Just follow them point wise and your posts should be fine.
TO CREATE A WTS POST.(See Rules 8 & 11 for additional Details).
- Price of the Items MUST be mentioned clearly. If multiple items are being offered, mention the price of each item.
- Photographs of the Items to be sold are mandatory and must be visible in the post.
- A piece of paper containing three things MUST be photographed along with the items. The three things are THE SELLER'S NAME, DATE OF POSTING AND SERIAL NUMBER of the Item being sold.
- This Statement is required at the beginning of the post - "Buyers beware: Buyers should read the forum rules and do their own due diligence before buying."
AFTER THE ITEM IS SOLD.
DO NOT REMOVE THE PRICE OF THE ITEMS.
DO NOT REMOVE PHOTOGRAPHS OF THE ITEMS.
(Also, please do not strike out the text of the post after the item is sold. A bold "
SOLD" ought to be enough to convey the information)
TO POST IMAGES.
- (There is a bug in the forum software that randomly rejects images posted directly to the forum).
- Host your images on any image sharing site that allows you to extract the direct image url. (This url should end in .jpg)
- Wherever you need to insert images, choose the button below B (for Bold) in the formatting tools of the post editor and paste the direct image url in the box.
- You can also do so manually by enclosing the direct url using the image tags [_img][/_img] in the post itself. (Remove _ from _img).
Example -[_img]www.yoursite.com/image_link.jpg[/_img] will display the image named image_link.jpg
(The image tags must not contain the _ shown above, obviously).
