Title: Solution for Uploading Images through hosting site and sharing on Forum
Post by: janmejaysingh on August 17, 2020, 11:10:03 AM
Steps to upload the images through a third party hosting site (updated) -
Prerequisite - Less than 10 images, Image size under 3 MB ideally (for all images)
(Example with IMGBB)
Step 1 - Go to https://imgbb.com/
Step 2 - Click on Start Uploading
Step 3 - Add the images here and click upload (if it doesn't automatically start uploading). Choose don't expire automatically, to avoid links becoming invalid

Step 4 - After the images are uploaded, select Direct Links -

Step 5 - From the above links, select the jpg links. Something like -

Step 6 - In the Posting Window, choose the button below B (for Bold) in the formatting tools of the post editor and paste the direct image url in the box.

Step 6 Alternate (Manual insert of link) - You can also do so manually by enclosing the direct url using the image tags [_img][/_img] in the post itself. (Remove _ from _img).

Example -
[_img]www.yoursite.com/image_link.jpg[/_img] will display the image named image_link.jpg
(The image tags must not contain the _ shown above, obviously. Each image needs a separate line with the tags starting and ending with the img shortcode).
