Lovely.
The contrast AND the gradation are excellent. How do you process these?
And all that snow with no blown highlights!
Very beautiful pics.
Quite dramatic, and a couple of them could go up on walls.
Most interstellar treatment of the scene .
Thanks, Bharat,Nishit, Thad E G and Ashutosh for your nice words :)
Bharat-These were captured on Pentax K5ll and basic processing was done with Nik's Silver Effex Pro plugin. During my analog days I used to do a good deal of b/w, experimented with Ansel's Zone system, Parry Yob's YOB system and Glen Fishback's Fishback system. All this helps in digital too. I have been a hobbyst all through and today at 78 continue to enjoy it a lot :)
Beautiful

Whoa! Had no clue that you could be any such age.
:) magic of photography and appreciation by you all here work as booster dose for me :)
These are some of the finest b&w landscape pics I have come across so far.. loved the tonality and composition of the pics
Thanks, akbrahma for your appreciation :)
Excellents Sir, Share some more tips.
Your third and fourth shots are similar, if not better, of my mentor, Mr Ashok Dilwali.
Thanks, Dipankar for your nice words. As I have said earlier, the basic conversion and processing was done with Nik's Silver effex pro. Thereafter normal pshop tools such as dodge/burn, sharpen etc were used selectively. I have seen Himalayan series of Mr Ashok Dilwali. Mine are no match for his masterpieces :)
