Splendid portrait, Atul.  I really like the cropped view of the lion's majestic face.

Hi,
This is actually a full frame, no crop image shot by 500mm prime lens.

Hi,

I misspoke, Atul.  I was speaking to the image, its composition.  I was not referring to cropping the sensor plane image, but rather the composition not including more outside of the field of view displayed in the finished image.  By the way, how did you get it square if it was not cropped?  Are you shooting a square format?
