I am currently facing a dilemma regarding which camera to choose. Previously, I owned a Canon 1300D, which I have since sold. My primary use for the camera was bird photography, often paired with a Sigma 150–600mm lens. However, I encountered difficulties with focusing due to the low frames per second (FPS) of the camera.
Now, I am unsure about the best course of action:
- Should I opt for another Canon body such as the 80D or 5-6-7D or the Mirrorless Canon series?
- Or should I consider selling my Sigma lens and transitioning to Nikon or another brand?
At present, my budget for the camera body is 50,000–60,000, with some flexibility for a slightly higher budget(70-80) if an exceptional deal presents itself. I am exclusively considering used bodies for purchase. I would greatly appreciate your assistance in making this decision. Thank you.
