Up close and personal eye to eye encounter with this majestic animal . I was dead tired after roaming around in the dusty zone of Fato zone in Jim Corbett. It was hot and humid and as we were planning to return back , the guide suggested a last try near one of the waterbodies whihc we had visited earlier in the morning.
The pond was almost lifeless and I had given hope of any further sighting. As the driver started reminding the guide of the safari timing coming to an end , the guide was excited that never before. And why should he not be...out of nowhere does this tiger walks in from the nearby foliage and without any hesitation dives straight into the water . Just before it does , it makes its presence felt and possibly warns through its stern look in its eyes that "Trespassers will be prosecuted "
