Very nice capture !
Thank you Vyas-ji 🙂.
Fantastic Image.
The dark birds in grey background with the mist turning the foliage white make it look surreal. Almost like a design on fabric. One of those photos where things just "come together" !
Loved this..excellent
Beautiful. Love the light on the wings.
Interesting image. How would it look as a stark high contrast black and white?
Thank you JessePinkmanYo, Manindra, Thad, Abhijit :) .

Thank you for saying 'surreal'. It is very satisfying to see that you chose a word which was playing in my mind when I was lucky to experience that setting :) .

Interesting suggestion, I considered this too.
Not the exact same composition, but here is a similar one where I did try it out.
IIRC, my thinking was that with those bright flowers filling 30% of the frame in the OP, the detail in the bright areas would grab all the attention, since I could not get my frame full of birds perfectly silhouetted against them. In the image below, OTOH, since I have more distant dark bg to work with, a high contrast BW does not cause the bg to interfere with the subjects.

Came across this once more...is this pic taken in Pune or Bengal...is the foliage kashful aka kans grass ?
It was taken in Shantiniketan, WB.
I am not an expert on the species, it looks like 'Kaash phool' to me. I am not sure if the season (late winter, February) is wrong for that.
What a view! White flowers stand out, PP or natural?

Thanks Mukund :). These are natural, although I have reduced saturation and played around with WB in pp.
