Title: Tawang monastery + Buddha closeup (just now added)

I have seen many aerial shots of this fascinating monastery, and I wanted to take one myself. The yellow roofs add a unique character to this image.

The view is magnificent on a clear sunny morning as the golden rays gradually make it's way down from the monastery to the yellow rooftops.

Was very fortunate to have witnessed it :)

@Crome: Tawang is sunny mostly in the morning and cloudy afterwards. It was big mistake not going to Madhuri lake first in the morning. I could have capture blue sky reflection on the water.

The yellow roofs and the lines between them form great leading lines taking the eye all along the monastery into the hills in the distance.

Lovely image. TFS.

Not sure if the solid blocks to the top left and bottom left of the image could have been avoided. Right now, where they are, I do not think you had the option to crop them out.
