Nicely done, Prabird-da.

How was the blur all around right from the edges of the rose accomplished? Was it PP or are we looking at the rose from something that is OOF in the foreground?

It's a PET water bottle, cut at both ends and shot from the narrow end. The setup is absolutely simple. Needs no special skill.

Oh! What a clever idea!

You could have put the rose in the narrow end, perhaps uncut so it would self-centre.
