Title: Caught in the act
Post by: manindra_m on March 23, 2025, 08:36:46 PM
A stationery bird pooping is a sign of it getting ready for flight. Birds usually poop before flying to reduce weight and make flight easier. The process also helps birds excrete solid waste and conserve water. It a good indicator for any wildlife photoghrapher to be ready with his camera set to the highest burst speed as it is about to take off for captruing BIF. Seen here is a peregrine falcon in the vast salt desert of Little Rann.
