Title: Sela lake
Post by: ISO on April 01, 2025, 09:16:37 AM
I had two attempts on it. First failed due to an overcast sky. But while returning from Tawang, the sky was clear, so I climbed again to shoot this lake.

Lovely picture of a beautiful place.

Ashutosh, you have a sharp eye to notice the tilt. In this instance I missed it. But once seen, it cannot be unseen :)

Very nice ! I don't think there is tilt. Look at the lake in the foreground and fencing around it, its perfectly placed.

My eyes are playing tricks on me! Sorry ISO, I now see there is no tilt. I was looking at the wrong thing in the wrong way

Beautiful image, Mukund. TFS.

The reflection on the water surface is an element that adds a lot of quality to this image.

I am trying to articulate what passed through my head as I looked at this image on my phone initially. While the fg horizon looks horizontal (!), the area in to the top left of the water surface appears almost concave to the eye which slopes off further to the left. I suppose curved peripheral road around the lake and the weighty hill which also slopes off to the left are playing perspective tricks on my mind. In such cases, I instruct my mind to not make a decision about the presence of a skew and continue enjoying the image :) .
