PLEASE NOTE & SEE THE PICTURES CLOSELY:
1. The camera case / base station has cracks that formed on their own. Never dropped / manhandled. Curved thin plastic will crack eventually.
2. The base station hinge is loose and this cannot be fixed diy. It works so I have just left it as it is.
3. The camera should, in theory, maintain connection to the base station when it is removed AND when it is re-inserted. In my case the camera loses connection with the base station when removed. Video continues to record but you need to reconnect the base station by pressing the button each time.
4. Battery life of the camera standalone sucked when it was new, sucks today. You may only get 10 minutes away from the base station. This is an estimate, I have no time to measure these things. I almost always use it on the base station except when I am taking a specific shot that needs the camera to be mounted away from me BUT retain the ability to control it
5. I have modified the sticky mount with two strong magnets. These magnets are strong enough to mount on a car exterior (camera only - no base station) and the pivot mount gives you more flexibility with the framing.
6. This is a small fun and chuckable camera and the price reflects all the issues with it.

Special Note: Before you ask me "Why are you selling?" - I enjoyed using this camera and perhaps your kid will enjoy making some short videos with it. The App is amazing for quick edits and uploads. The Insta 360 ecosystem is brilliant for content creation and I have filmed quite a bit with this camera.
