Item's Age & its Description: Absolutely no idea. Bought it long back for parts and just kept it around as long as I had working 5D Mark II bodies. The charger works just fine. I have used the charger even with R6 batteries as my second charger. Gotta love that about Canon!

1. The camera is DEAD. It will NOT power on. The issue is unknown. It might be as simple as a power-board replacement OR a main-board replacement. If you manage to fix it, you "could" end up with a cheap 5D Mark II but I cannot use that argument to induce the sale. I bought it ONLY for parts and that is how I am presenting this for sale.
2. The charger works just fine and I have used it with Canon RF mount camera batteries as a second/third battery charger.
