I am getting Canon g7x mkiii for 43k. Is this a good deal? I want to mostly do travel phtotgraphy and learn basic phtography skills. There is another offer for x100vi for around 48k. Which one should I get?
Hi you are trying to compare apple with orange ( or atleast and Green apple with a Red one) , you might be fustrated by my reply but I've been in the same boat so here goes
1st you need to decide what your current skils are and what you intened to learn, everybody on this forum is still learning only, no matter however senior they are in their respective photography journey so "learn" is a very subjective term.
Both are very capable cameras and any one would be a good choice. What are the deciding factors:-
1. You skill level
2. Your inteded skill level in terms of SKILL , STLYE and GENER ( all three are different things)
If above doesn't make sense don't worry just try to answer above questions and then seek advise again amd things will start to make sense.
Bottom line every camera system ( not brand but system like Point&Shoot, DSLR/Mirrorless, Profession Bodies , Sepciality lense, Fixed lens, Zoom vs Prime) are made for specific use cases.
In your case you need to define in a little more details than you have in your question.
Apart form that both are very good cameras but Fuji X100V would do better for Street Photography ( which is only a subset fo travle photography) , technicaly it is a superior machine then G7X but with 1 drawback of no zoom.
In some cases it is ok or even better to let go of zoom , in other cases it would be a disaster.
I myself own a G7xM2 and love it and a X-T100 which I love also. But X100V is another beast with its fixed lense, It is generaly suited for more advanced skill set and not "I don't know what I like" phase.

Sorry, but in case you don't go forward with the X100vi (which in your current phase is likely) could you share where this deal is? If on OLX, it is going to be a scam, so be careful
