The prices you are probably looking at are from international sellers where the prices are just currency conversions with international shipping costs and custom fees tacked on.

Thanks for replying. There's surely some ambiguity online. One website is selling it for what you've quoted above, rest are quoting different prices, and some that quote around 40k or above show it out of stock. Some that are selling used or unboxed versions are selling for higher than my quote. Sorry, can't rescrub all the links here.
It seems this particular version (meaning mark 1 of the pana-Leica 25mm 1.4) isn't readily available in India. Version II is surely available. For some reason, there are some photographers look for this particular version (I). I've been in talk with a tourist photographer who is contemplating buying it, despite knowing all of the above. He must have his own reasons. Since I don't use this ecosystem, it's obvious that I'll look for the highest bidder.
Notwithstanding, it's true that there's less chance of anyone here likely being interested in this deal at the current price, so I'll reduce it to a more agreeable amount, as my basic idea is to sell it without too much delay as I have other purchases to do.

What Parampreet is telling is very much true. I also have sold that lens around 18K. It is becoming harder to sell m43 gear nowadays. I have the legendary 75mm not able to get a buyer and stopped posting for sale.

Thanks for your suggestions, krsamy. My piece is unused, and in principle as well as in value the depreciation on unused lenses is not as much as it is made to be.
Ofcourse, the warranty statute on my article is over, for which I have kept it in a reduced tab, and a provision for negotiation is open. However, that remains the only downside on this lens. As for lesser popularity on M43 systems these days, I agree. But I'm sure there are many people out there who'd be looking, and I don't mind waiting. Besides, this lens is also a part of the whole kit that I've put on sale. Part of that kit is here in this forum as well, and the whole bundle is posted elsewhere. Thanks nonetheless for your prompt
No matter how unused your unit is it's not as new as a new one (also you don't have warranty so...).
Rn shops are selling for 36.1k after a card discount (sbi cashback for eg).
Obviously your unit your price but the way your pricing is atm be it will be a very very hard sell.
