Title: Camera bag recommendations for Olympus M43 camera and lens
Post by: Klub Class on May 25, 2026, 11:39:18 AM
I'm currently using Olympus OMD E-1 Mark 2 with 12-40 f2.8 lens and 100-400 Mark 1 lens. Might add a 40-150 mm non pro lens later.

I'm thinking of getting a sling bag for travel purposes (body + 12-40 and 40-150) and a backpack (when I take 100-400 for birding)

Looking forward to your bag recommendations.

Thank you

Think tank Retrospective sling and Mindshift first light backpack. They are not cheap but should last a lifetime.

Thinktank retrospective 5 will fit perfectly. Fantastic bag. Worth the cost.

For sling, I recommend the K&F 10L one. Pretty good quality.

I highly recommend the Bellroy 10L camera sling, as it is very comfy even with it fully loaded. I am using this sling from about 3-4 years and is really well built.
For me, it currently houses OM-3 with 12-100 f/4, Pana 100-400 v2, Pana 9mm.
Since you want to carry a body + 12-40 and 40-150, it should be very easy carry.
