Hi, I have a 4 year old Fujifilm x100v that i am facing some issues with. The camera switches off and on before it can be used. I am looking for technician's recommendations based in Mumbai, or any guidance from the forum. Anyone have experience of repairs done to their Fujifilm?

Fuji has a service center in Goregaon, I had a camera serviced with them ages ago, they were good.
Give them a ring and check.

I had previously given it to my regular technician in Fort, but the problem still persist. As a follow up, was the official quote from Fuji expensive? Anything to keep in mind?

My camera wouldn't recognize any lens, it turned out to be a simple issue, one of the internal cable had come loose, they just had to disassemble the camera and reconnect the cable.
They charged me their base service rate, around 2.5k IIRC. It was dearer than what a technician at fort would charge, but it guaranteed that the work would be done correctly by a certified technician.
Do note, I got this done around 8-10 years back.
