Those interested to procure the subject phone mainly for the sake of its camera system may watch this review about the misleading specs:

he is just ranting.

apple very clearly said 'it's like having 7 lenses at the ready"

while the video showed how the 3 lenses produced 7 focal lengths.

yes, the 14-15 camera jump is incremental. but for him to claim apple said they have seven lenses is just to jump on the trending bandwagon of iPhone 15 Pro content that he is required to put out coz of the recent launch.

he keeps zooming in / pixelpeeping into the already cropped focal lenghts.

the 7 focal lenghts will simply help millions of people with a faster, more handy "workflow."

and most of them are going to jump on the bandwagon and upgrade anyways.

May the (annual) 2023 edition of Apple-bashing begin !  ;D

weren't they the reviewers who called the Nikon Z9 a colossal failure in their first review (which they later backtracked) ?
Please correct me if I'm mis-remembering.

There have been several comments on reddit.com, generally denouncing the stand taken by Mr. Tony. His objection about equivalent focal length of 120 mm of tele lens being mentioned without the corresponding f no of 21 (for crop factor 7.7) is misunderstood by one commentator, who interprets it in terms of light transmission. It is the depth of field equivalent that  Mr. Tony appears to be indicating. ISO equivalent is perhaps a different story. In any case, for a general user f21 may not mean much.

Typical Tony clickbait video ! This is the Toneh 15. O, I guess  ;)

Even if most of the issued raised by him might be more than valid, they have been there for ages and there's no use raising them now - what with even the Android ecosystem plagued with many of these.

But all is well that ends well. Especially loved the rearend humour about his family keeping him from ditching the iphone. Now here's a man who knows his mind.

Hell, the video is eminently watchable just for the laughs, if nothing else.
YO, YO, YO ! Seven-Zero-Zero to the 0 to the 5 to the 4 - representin' the K-O-L. What up, B-Yatch? Leave the phone.

The iPhone 15 Pro may well be the first iPhone Pro worthy of the PRO badging.

The iPhone 11 Pro was NOT a Pro phone.

With the new A17 Pro chip... this may very well be the first time the Pro moniker actually makes sense.

The A17 Pro has a GPU that is ray traced. HARDWARE RAY TRACING in a smart phone.  :o

The future is bright. Imagine an M3 Pro/Max/Ultra chips with hardware ray tracing.  :D

P.S: the iPhone 15 Pro Max camera seems to handle shadows really well.
Better than any iPhone in the past.

Hi Folks.

I doubt that in our time there are any more convenient cameras than the ones in our cellphones.  It it is near astounding what they can do in terms of generating high quality, serviceable images.  I watched this video comparing an upline Canon setup with a cellphone and was taken aback at how well the cellphone did in emulating the results that one might expect from an SLR.

I have always felt like the viewfinder is a very important and critical element in any serious camera.  The "out in the open" LCD screen has always been a turn-off for me since it does so poorly in bright light.  But, evidently, it's not much of a bother to most folks.

Have you ever thought about all the things that don't exist anymore because they were displaced by cellphone technology?  Talk about astounding, that really is.

Some say those of us who love to talk about cameras should instead go and take pictures. I say we should go and also take pictures.

Kasey is going to pounce on it, I guess. If the iPhone 15 produces good zoomed-in videos, it would be useful to many people.  Kasey's video about macro videography using 1:1 pixel crop in HD video on the OM-1 was quite interesting.
