Rho Ophiuchi
Rho ophiuchi, a colourful cloud complex. Seen in southern sky these days. It consists of dark nebulae seen as dark filaments, two star forming clouds consisting of dense gases and a supergiant star Antares. Antares is a massive star, many times bigger than our sun and is about to explode in giant supernova.
