I bought a 50 mm fd from roni1986 and it was as described by the dealer.

Thanks for it.

I was recently sent a PM by someone claiming he was the fairest person to deal with on JJMPF.

My rebuttal is only to post the list of those who were to me fairer far...

visiongalaxy - excellent deal and dealing on an EF 28-105 on behalf of a friend of his
manoj - I bought a CZJ practicar 50 1.4 a stunner of a lens - my first manual focus lens and the start of an addiction
roni1986 - for the quirky and sharp helios 44m-4 - one of the most delightful lens I have owned
pankaj21 - for the manfrotto monopod thats still the one I go to for day to day photos
theredgiant - for a really good photography book by Michael Freeman
pixphatic - for the OM 135/3.5 that I was looking for so desperately
pankaj kumar singh - for a great think tank speed freak - love that bag
debdatta - an EF 28-135 that was in great shape - thats my daily use zoom on the 5D classic
chittaranjan naik - for a cute Domke that now houses my camcorder stuff - you'd never know it has a camera inside - anyway I was struck by the fact that when the shipping was on the higher side Naik offered to share - great gesture!
devansh5 - who sent me the CF cards I was interested in even before I did the payment!
seven.five - after devansh5 I thought it would be rare to find such great sellers who ship just on commitment - I guess I was so wrong - seven.five shipped the intervalometer just like devansh5 - before payment!
pbafna - who waited a really long time for me to clear up issues at my end while I was buying (trying to actually) the BLN1 battery and its charger
fiply - for the truly new EF 35 f2
deepak brid - for the N3 type intervalomenter
ayaskant12 - for a great sigma 30/2.8 and for forgiving my transferring a bit less than the agreed amount by mistake

I want to thank all of the above for their patience in dealing with me - it usually takes me a couple of days (sometimes more) to transfer/deposit funds because of the nature of my work. I also update my PMs once a day or at most twice a day. I understand the world is moving much faster nowadays what with everybody online all the time.

And there are people with whom I did not do a buy-sell deal but were amazing in the understanding they showed.
rishabh - I had an EF 24/2.8 with just a strand of fungus up for sale but later I broke the lens (so much for overhyped metal lens mounts) and had to withdraw the sale
VikramF - when I was looking to buy a couple of OM telephoto lenses he kept me update all through on what was happening at his end - peace of mind at my end
travelphotogiri - I contacted him first for a canon EF 24/2.8 same as the one I broke but I had to back out later
tapobrata-tb - for putting up information on a sell I did not get - but his putting up the sale meant that I was not left hanging in the air like in suspense
lkpchennai - gains my utmost regard - I had committed to buy equipment from him but could not do so on time because my short trip abroad was advance by a few days. Then while there I lost my camera bag! I came back and informed him that I could not go ahead with the deal. lkpchennai was not only very understanding but also showed concern and gave me a couple of ideas on how I might recover the bag. Thanks!
Hankosaurus - for patiently giving ear to my PM.

If I have missed out somebody do let me know and I will add your name to this list. Because I want to. I have only a grins post to show. No frowns for I wait a couple of days for my temper to cool down and touch-wood I have no financial loss to tell of.

Snapshots mostly. The photographs, if any, are unintentional.

It was my first two purchases from this forum

One was ravi~nigam
Nikon 35mm F2.Excellent lense, very happy.

Second was Divyesh
I booked Panasonic Leica 25mm F1.4 lense
I had some problem with bank. My cheque was not cleared due to some stupid CTS issue. And i couldn't pay on time. He got back to me. I offered him to do partial payment to convince him about my sincerity. And despite one more willing buyer, he decided to take my offer. After full payment I received the lense and it is in excellent condition

I highly recommend this two people. They might not negotiate much but they wont make false promises either :d

Thanks vishalvjadhav  ;) ;) ;)....

I must confess that I am sick and I suffer from fair amount of "GAS" .... But Please do not auto promote me to the category of a "Dealer" though  ;) ;) ...I am just a mere user !!!  ;D ;D

Thanks Again :)

I just bought a Olympus Ep-1 camera body with accessories and a 4GB sd card from Chittaranjan Naik.

I thank him for this really good camera, he sent me the item and then asked me to pay. Also I would like to appreciate Chittaranjan for the careful and neat packing which was very pleasant.

It was a really good deal, thank you JJMPF and Chittaranjan.

Cheers,

I recently sold a couple of lenses and a camera bag to Essen. The entire transaction was very smooth and pleasant. The deal was done over just one phone call and the next day Essen came over to Navi Mumbai (from Pune) to collect the items. After the transaction was done, I realized that I had left my EVF (VF-2) in the camera bag which I had handed over to Essen. I called him up in the evening and he confirmed that the VF2 was indeed in the bag. The very next day he couriered the EVF to me at his own cost, a very nice gesture from a thorough gentleman. Thank you Essen.

Chittaranjan

Hi Deepesh,

I just noticed your kind words about me in your post dated May 2, 2015. My offer to pay for the higher cost of shipping was because the higher cost was due to my own laziness, but it was very benevolent of you to bear the full shipping cost. The nice gesture was really from your side. : -) Thank you.

Regards,
Chittaranjan

Had an extremely pleasant experience with Mr.Saharsh Dholakia ,I bought Nikon 80-200 f2.8 D,from him few things make him unique ,firstly  honesty, when asked about the condition he sent me the pics not highlighting the good things but the cosmetic issue the lens had that too in close up details and gave lot of insight on the lens and lot of other things.Very genuine and a true gentleman.I hope to deal again in the future, highly recommended.
I can't forget to mention the bulletproof packing he did so that the stuff reaches me safely.
