Thanks, Henry. I, too, used to use orange and red filters in analog days (b/w) back in 60's and 70's for dramatic skies. However these are shot in colour and converted to b/w with Nik's Silver Effex pro plugin in pshop. Usual pshop tools for boosting contrast,dodge/burn etc used in processing.As stated in my other b/w post, my experiments with Ansel's Zone System help a lot in visualisation and execution of such images. They are all wonderful, Hansraj.  I also am especially fond of the first one.  When I was young in this hobby back in the 1960s, I used a red filter to get clouds to look like that with Tri-X or Plus-X.  When you do this in digital black and white, are you consciously using red filtration?  Or is there some other way?
