Sony A9 Shutter Closes randomly when powering on

Hello all,

Good to be here on this forum. Tons of great information available.

I have a query. I have an old Sony A9. The first model that came out. Off late, the camera shutter closes randomly when i power the camera on. Then i have to manually open it using a tiny wedge/lever on the lens mount.

Any idea why this might be happening?
