Never gave much attention to my own backyard. I woke up late today and instead of going to my usual place for birding , decided to visit my backyard . Surprisingly found quite a few keepers. Sharing the same for viewing.

I stay is Thane West (outskirts of Mumbai suburbs) and my sociey is close to Sanjay Gandhi National Park. While a lot of habitat is gone due to mindless construction and urbanization , trying to make the most out of whatever is left behind. Not sure if the next generation would be that lucky enough !

Good to see you have Common Kingfishers in your backyard. This means the ecology is still alive.
