This was one of the best moment of my trip to Little Rann of Kutch. Had never been able to photograph a peregrine falcon and over the last few years every other video and photo of this magnificient raptor had taken over my imagination to a point of obsession... where I had insisted the guide that the morning safari should solely be dedicated to tracking this raptor. And after roaming around in the vastness of the salt desert , we finally were able to get a glimpse of this raptor. Parked the jeep at a distance and crawled almost odd 200m to get upclose and personal. And boy did she reciprocate ....close to 60 minutes of tete-a-tete with no interruptions. Sharing one of the many shots that I captured for your viewing. C&C welcome

P.S. : As suggested by an esteemed forum member Krish, did a vertical crop which i also realized looks better

That is a superb shot!! Simply fantastic. Poster worthy. (a minor suggestion if you don't mind: I would slightly shift the temperature towards the blue)

I was in the Little Rann and it is an unwelcoming but hauntingly fascinating landscape! We saw these buggers through the binocs. I have no long lens now.

Great shot! Must have taken a lot of effort. Some of the Peregrines at LRK are bold - one female that the guides called Sultan used to let people get quite close in and out of their vehicles. It's good you could take your time and weren't interrupted by other photographers.
