I do not think so. The bird is perfectly framed in this picture. Not an easy thing while taking fast moving BIF shots. The "taken the image to another level" event may have happened if the surface was calm and the reflection clear. That is not so. The water is rippled. A full reflection would be nice but IMHO not an earth shaking event.
Sounds like something one would say because one read somewhere "must get a reflection".
This is a great shot. Period.
