In this peak humid season, my Andbon dry cabinet has gone defunct, the display sometimes come up when I fiddle with the plug in the socket(rarely) and then goes off in a split second. A few rare time it has sustained the power but automatically has gone off again after an hour or so. I couldn't find any service center number of Andbon, but i guess all dry cabinets would be working in same style, what can be done about this now?

Check plug and socket first.

1. Do other things work on that socket?

2. Check inside the plug. If a moulded plug, chop it off and wire on a new plug

If it is a whole separate lead, with an iec plug (computer type) at the cabinet end, just swap out the whole lead.

It works when wiggled is just too suspicious that socket has lost its grip or something has come loose in plug

All of this below.
Nice when someone else does all the hard work and you can simply quote.

Check if the plug terminals are heating up after being connected for a while. Sure sign of a loose connection causing sparking.
Most units seem to have a dehumidifying assembly that is removable. Look up the user manual for your model, and AFTER checking everything else, see if you can dismantle it and check it or show it to a technician.
Looking for a Rokinon/Samyang 135 F/2 Lens in excellent condition.

Also looking for a few Canon NB-10L Batteries.

Same thing happens in all sockets
Plug seems fine too
It's not a 3 pin computer type socket at the cabinet, but like the older round phones one.

It suddenly started working after I made the earlier post, nobody had touched anything on the pluge, socket or the cabinet. Let's see how long it goes on.

The cabinet worked fine until today. The display is blinking today. I can find any details of an Andbon service center or support. The cabinet is still in warranty but now ay to avail it. Do you guys know where it can be repaired?

Hope the issue resolved. Did Andbon help you or did you have to deal it with yourself?

I myself am contemplating on getting a dry cabinet. Not sure which brand to go with since issues like this will be a hassle to deal with.
Shoot stuff I guess?
