Thanks Abhijit. The birds arrive in Hingolgadh in late May / June for breeding, and leave after August once the chicks fledge, to spend the rest of the year in other parts of India. They can be found easily during the courtship period due to their distinctive calls.

This particular visit was right after the cyclone Biparjoy, which meant that it was very windy. Getting good photos with the birds on thinner branches was a bit difficult as the wind made branches sway and the movement would make focus jump to the background or foreground.
