It really depends on what you intend to shoot. If you're into action photography (e.g. birds in flight), the D500 will mostly perform better than the Z 50. However, for other genres, the mirrorless camera ought to give you good results.

A couple of informed opinions:

The D7000 is quite an old camera. You should consider getting a Z 50 [Edit: or Z FC, depending on your budget] with an FTZ adapter. The Z 30 has an even better AF performance, but lacks a viewfinder.

Thanks for response.
z50 with ftz adapter will work well with my old AFS lenses.
Will it work better than D500 + AFS lenses.

Hello guys,
I know there has been numerous mirrorless vs dslr threads.
I have nikon D7000 with 5 lenses including 90mm macro, 300f4afs. I also have Fuji XT3 with 3 prime lenses 23mm, 35mm 60mm.
Now I am finding nikon d7000 very slow in autofocus  vs xt3 .
Should I sell all nikon equipment and get telephoto and macro for fuji xt3 or get Nikon D500 or D750 replacing D7000 .
Will D500 focus equally fast as XT3.
Please suggest.
