This gentleman sold me a dud..when I contacted him, he said that the card was working when he despatched it..from his response what I could infer was that cfast cards stop working when they reach Chennai. He has stopped picking up my calls also. Since I don't have any other option, I decided to post this in the group. Let other members be careful while dealing with him.

Working card was sent,  may be it got damaged with camera or something else perfectly working card was sent with a good and safe packaging,

This doesn't make sense, Why someone would want to buy a CF card  if they have perfectly working CF card with them. If you see the December 14 2024 Wwnt to Buy(WTB) section RaviRangefinder was looking to buy a CF card.

This is cfast 2.0 , they both are different cards for different cameras

These are the photos of the card and error message in the camera. I already have a sandisk Cfast card and it is working perfectly. The one sold to me is definitely a defective piece. Had this tested on a computer also and the card was not being read. I had this tested several times before coming to the conclusion that the card is defective. When all my cards are being read on the camera and computer , why should only one be different , other than it being defective. When you are aware that an article is defective , why sell it?
When i spoke to the seller last , he claimed that the card was accesible via his reader and he would send the reader to me to prove his point.
Long story short, i am still waiting for the reader...
I had paid 4.5K for the card and what is so pathetic is that someone would do this for such an amount....

Seeing the pics posted by the buyer Mr.Manoj, I am intrigued because if picture no:3 illustrates the said defective card it is anything but "mint" and looks practically very well used...unless of course it is the sandisk card which the buyer used to show that his other card is working allright.
