Thread sort order

I'm curious how oldest first would be better: wouldn't we have to go to the last page every time there was a new post? Also, a majority of forums on apps/websites these days are newest first.

Thread sort order has been changed to latest first. Can it be set back to oldest first, which reflects natural reading order?

I looked for any setting I could change as a personalised setting. I didn't find one. Is there one?

Any post on an admin topic would be incomplete without this: Many thanks to our hosts, admins and moderators for keeping the forum going :)
