A user by the name yrsadawn82 spammed over 20 JJM members on messaging in response to their "want to buy" posts.
In just the last two days.

A very obvious scam. Only highlighted by one alert user now, so blocked.

PLEASE BE CAREFUL ABOUT SUSPICIOUS SOUNDING OFFERS SENT AS MESSAGES.

And please report any that seem even slightly shady.

Hi, got a PM on my recent WTB post. In the PM they asked for my email & then sent images of two cameras, claiming to own both. I then asked for a number so we could continue the conversation on WhatsApp but they said because they are an American National named Brimes Harvey living in Dhule, they don't have a WhatsApp, followed by immediately asking me to confirm payments so they can ship the camera.

I've had many interactions on the forum but this was suspect from the start. Reminded me of this thread in many ways, so I'm sharing the details with which they contacted me. I'd be happy to share screenshots of the email chain if needed.
