Shot at Bhigwan grassland. The Indian grey wolf population is reducing drastically becasue of rapid destruction of grasslandsand has caused a steep decline in the wolf's natural wild prey, such as blackbucks, chinkaras, and hares. To survive, wolves are forced to rely heavily on local livestock . This triggers severe human-wildlife conflict, prompting livestock herders to engage in retaliatory killings by poisoning the wolves.
