Feeling like I can hold the camera now and not cause my subjects to flee (had gotten really rusty with the approach techniques)
Wanted to flex it before we head out into the rainforests :D

1.

An interesting fly on an equally interesting leaf

2.

Freshly emerged Pentatomidae nymphs

3.

Robberfly with a mosquito kill. A true friend in the field :)

4.

Nature's Fibonacci spiral! Defensive millipede

5.

Phalera sp moth caterpillar

All shot on the Olympus OMD EM1 M2, 60mm macro.
Godox TT 350O with a DIY diffuser.

C&C sought :)

Is the EM1 mk2 allowing you to do handheld focus stacks? How does it compare with the earlier body that you were using?

The reflective ones in this set seem to have highlights that are just a little brighter than ideal, imo.
Looking for a Rokinon/Samyang 135 F/2 Lens in excellent condition.

Also looking for a few Canon NB-10L Batteries.

Amazing pictures. Especially love the millipede.

Thanks a ton Vyasji, Thad, Bharat and Krishnan!
Bharat - glad you noticed it, I've been experimenting with not trying to subdue all of the highlights during Post-processing
If it moves I shoots :P

I liked the way you processed. Like using a polariser while shooting glass and removing all glare/sheen is no good,  removing all highlights/sheen of an insect which has nice sheen on its body, is not proper, imho.

Stunning macro shots of nature's tiny ones, Hayath..Your pictures are always a treat! hope you have many field days in the rainforests! On another note, I would like to echo Bharat's query regarding the Olympus EM1 mk2: does it allow you to do handheld focus stacks?

Ganesh.
