Recently I bought a Sigma 10-20 (UWA) lens from Mr. Vikram Franklin (http://www.jjmehta.com/forum/index.php?action=profile;u=4976) from Bangalore.  It was a pleasant experience dealing with him.The lens was very well cared for and in excellent condition.
I highly recommend him and look forward for more such deals. My best wishes to him

Just looking through this thread we can see that we have a lot of top notch folks here at JJMPF. We should be proud to be in such good company.

Hat's off to each of them. Well done.

Happy day.

Some say those of us who love to talk about cameras should instead go and take pictures. I say we should go and also take pictures.

Bought a Sigma 10-20 UWA from member JayD last month. I had bought filters from him before so I knew he was a top notch seller.

But what impressed me most this time was that he quoted an amount for shipping which I gladly paid.
When he shipped it, the cost of shipping was less than what I paid him so he voluntarily refunded the excess back to my account.

Members like him make this forum what it is. Thanks Jyotirmoy!!

Although his identity is not dependent on my feed back here in this forum . But still I am posting it.

I bought a Nikon EL-Nikkor 50mm f2.8N lens +
Vivitar 2x Macro Focusing Teleconverter in Nikon AI mount  + kit for macro  .. The items are in extremely well maintained condition .. Also got help and suggestions from him regarding how to use it ... I would try my best to use them to properly and keep them properly.. the pricing was excellent rather outstanding.

Earlier also I bought tamron 90 mm macro from which was also extremely well maintained and perfect condition to use it...

It is always nice to meet him personally and interact .. I get lots of knowledge and enthusiasm from him....

I believe we are very lucky to get him in this forum and get the knowledge from him..

Oh forgot to mention... I also got a slik dq 100 ball head for my slik sprint pro 2 when I lost my quick release plate of the existing pan head at free of cost... Sorry NC if the last statement troubles you.... I would remove it if u want... But I don't think that would be ne trouble as you keep ur items next to free  :D...

Thanks Vimalji... I was really worried about how would be the item status when it would reach to ur hand... Tried to fit the lens in  such a way so that it is not harmed for the rest of the items i thought they are a bit hard to bear a bit of poor handling by the Courier persons.  Also it was my shipping so was really tensed .... Although for this case also credit also goes to NC he had magic taped the item so that the it doesn't extend any much

Guys, Based on the thread http://www.jjmehta.com/forum/index.php?topic=14648.0 , I got a chance to deal with Mr.Pranshu. The deal was so smooth and I never came to know how I got my lens in hand.

Contacted the night when he posted the sale thread and asked them to block it. He did and the next day morning we discussed, but never negotiated. I was fine with the price he posted in the thread for the 50mm f1.8G and I transfered money to his account in the evening. But just before it got credited in his account he handed over the packed lens to bluedart for shipping.

Bill and warranty card is shipped by an another courier the next day, which I have received just now in hand.... perfect !!!

Pranshu, thanks for the smooth deal and confidence in me.

Bought a Canon 50D from Mr. Manish Joshi (Screen Name: j0shi) for a friend of mine. The seller was a very warm person and a typical "yaaron ka yaar".
The transaction was super smooth and hassle free. The condition of the product was also very good. All the accessories were given as promised and also my friend's request of payment in 2 installments was obliged with. It was a pleasure dealing with Manish Joshi.
Only regret being that I was not the buyer.

I never thought of photography till 3 months back when a 60 days old D5100 was available at 29K, thanks to JJM. The offer was too tempting and I decided to try my hands at Photography. Once that was home, the greed grew and then I saw a 58 days old 70-300 VR for 21K. That was home too. Then came the filters, spent another 2500 on a Hoya 67mm Pro1D CPL and 600 on a Kenko 67mm UV. The used cam market rocks. Thanks to JJM, I have a nearly new set now. (Not naming any buyers here, but am happy with everyone)

Stats: Actual CP for a new set as above from Flipkart would be:73900

I got a 60 days old set for 53100  :) ;) :)
