Brought a Canon 7D from 'dkpl2004' (Deepak Paul) few weeks ago..

The deal went really smooth..

Price offered was very lucrative. He responded to all the PMs instantly.
Held the cam for two days so I could get money in my bank account. And shipped on the same day transfer was made.
Stuff was well packed. Shipped via DTDC.
Though DTDC blue was supposed to ship it in 2 business days, but like always it never happened and they took 4 days to do so :P
Everything reached safe and was in mint condition as mentioned.

Overall, it was great experience dealing with him. At starting i was bit hesitating as he is quite a new member with less forum presence.
However, having good experience I could say people could trade with confidence from him :)

Bought a Tamron 17-50mm 2.8 from Essen. The lens was as mentioned in wonderful condition. A wonderful personality to deal with.

Would surely like to deal again in future & would highly recommend him.

Thanks, Pankaj. As mentioned, there was a delay in the receipt due to courier. Nevertheless, the bag reached safely in good condition, thanks to Pankaj for very nice packing (3 +1 Layer).
Very nice guy & very nice buying experience. Highly recommended. Thanks to Pankaj once more.

Sold 2 bags to different members of the forum.

Nitin Barve - sold a backpack. Nice guy. Was a quick deal where we both involved our respective frnds to help us out :P

Devi Prasadji: Nice person to deal with. Was more eager to transfer the money first. This was the first time I had issues with courier services as they did not co-operate to ship the bag. Finally convinced DTDC to do so, but caused a delay of 2 days :(
But the bag reached safe finally.

Thanks to both & JJMPF

It was a pleasure dealing with ami21, he is extremely patient as I took some time in deciding and once the amount was transferred, he did ship the items via dtdc. The packaging is extremely commendable as he took 4 to 5 layers of protection. It was fun opening the box. am21, comes recommended.

Sold a set of filters to a member Govind... nice person to deal.
Had been busy since few days & so was not able to ship n keep him acknowledged. But he was patient enough.

Thank u Govind...

Amit

Decided on the Benro B2 with the ARCA compatible clamp. But waiting for the month to end :P

Good! Now start deciding on what plates to buy for your camera/lenses. It is off topic for this thread. In case you have any questions start another thread in the DSLR forum and you'll get an earful on what to buy. LOL!  8)  ;D

This is for aj04 (Anshul). Bought the Gitzo 3541LS tripod from him. PS: Also thanks to Hyperdrive and Vikram for guiding me in choosing the tripod.

You're welcome and congrats on the Gitzo :D What have you decided about the ball head & clamp?

This is for aj04 (Anshul). Bought the Gitzo 3541LS tripod from him. Since I could not meet in person and check the condition of the tripod, he readily helped by providing me all the pics I asked for.
Also shipped fast and was packed so well that I was fatigued just unpacking the whole thing! He also got the tripod serviced for me :)

This was my first outstation buy from JJMPF so was a bit apprehensive at first but this was a good choice :D
