Vivek , aka  " Hyperdrive " : Bought a FF from him recently. Smooth deal........He delivered the stuff to my cousin in Pune......... Very Highly Recommendable.

Actually when one deals with any Senior JJM member, one feels so safe , assured  , confident that one is going to get the right stuff  . A peace of subconscious mind prevails and thats makes one very comfortable.

Thanks Hyperdrive.

Hoping to get the stuff over the weekend.

A big shout out for Deepak Kaw, who goes by the user name 'Dee' on this forum. I had asked him if he had any Helios to Nikon adapters for sale, and to my please surprise shipped an adapter that he had without even asking for any payment, not even the shipping charges ! All that he asked for was my address, and despite my requests refused to take any payment.

Folks like Deepak enrich this forum ! May your tribe increase !

Thank you Vimal, had a lovely time dealing with you :)

Deepak Kaw: Had a very smooth deal with him
Lens was 200mm ais macro lens. Everything was as he has mentioned. And the packing was the best I had ever seen. Double layer of bubble wraps and air proof pouch with lots of material for cushion. Highly recommend. And very nice person to deal with.

Seller: Catmandoo

Item: Sigma 150-500mm EF mount lens

Friendly experience in dealing with him, was accommodative in shipping lens immediately, and it came packaged excellently. Lens quality is exactly as advertised - optically excellent, only mild cosmetic scuffing externally.

Thank you!

Definitely recommended.

Finally, ton of thanks to Sumanta Chandra for the much beloved 135mm 2.8 MF Nikkor, AI grooved. The glass was in wish list for long long time.
Picked-up directly at his place, the next day went back to him to fetch a good desktop system, with a Dell UltraSharp series monitor, and two UPS too. ! He spent lot of time with me, amidst an imminent relocation.  Insanely good pricing, the whole interaction turned out to be a real encouraging push to my re-shift to Bangalore as an artist.

thanking you Sumanta,
and thank you jjmpf !

Thanks to Deepak Kaw for a Tamron Adaptall 24mm prime, sparkling optics retained as new, body untarnished.
Again, shipped before I paid. Gives sharp pics with huge DOF(or is the increase in DOF just my feel because of acuity ?. . )
thankyou 'Dee' !

Thanks to Sirshendu Mookherjy, who showered me with some CF cards(6 or 8 of them? I forgot :D) , in response to the WTB post :)
Was a great deal, with some Sandisk extremes in it.
Some 3 people responded to the post, thanks to all.
